I would rather be run over by a dump truck on normal tires than a Vespa on those.

Very pointy.

Why would you even bother having rubber ?

Such spike

Very, very metal, but in an impractical (if amusing) way. Kind of the Michael Angelo Batio metal of snow tires.

These are very humane because they ensure anything you run over is dead.

Quite common in the snowmobile world.

Yes, humane.

Oooh, wicked!

Cold and sharp.
Like my heart.

depends on the dump truck
![]() 11/11/2014 at 15:59 |

Surely not.

Thought about it for a second, and rubber flexes. You'll break/bend/lose less studs hitting something hard if they can give a little than if they were attached to something solid.

This would be helpful for ice racing.

It really would.

When I was a kid, I ran the studding machine at my dad's tire shop every fall....probably studded hundreds of snow tires......never seen anything like this :-)

Me neither.
